Utility-Scale Haohan System and Home Solutions on Display
BYD Energy Storage made a big appearance at ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2026 in Bangkok. The company brought its utility-scale BYD Haohan system along with residential products like the Battery-Box LV5.0+ and Battery-Box HVE. Dr. Veerapat Kiatfuengfoo, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Thailand's Ministry of Energy, visited the booth and checked out both the large-scale and home storage setups. He gave strong approval of BYD's technology and product quality.
BYD Haohan Powered by 2710Ah Blade Battery
The Haohan system runs on the world's largest mass-produced 2710Ah blade battery built for energy storage. It delivers over 300% more capacity than conventional products. The smallest system unit hits 14.5 MWh with a volumetric energy density of 233.8 kWh per cubic meter, which is 51.4% better than the industry average. The IP66 rating means it handles moisture, water, and high temperatures well, making it a good fit for Southeast Asia's hot and humid conditions.
Battery-Box LV5.0+ for Low-Voltage Residential Use
The Battery-Box LV5.0+ works with the Power-Box low-voltage inverter as BYD's first integrated low-voltage home solution. It scales from 5.12 kWh up to 163.84 kWh with a modular design. The system supports up to 1C charge and discharge rates and 100% depth of discharge, handling high-frequency, high-power needs. Quick-connect wiring, one-touch auto commissioning, and broad inverter brand compatibility make installation easier for homeowners.
Battery-Box HVE for High-Voltage Home Storage
The Battery-Box HVE is BYD's high-voltage home storage product. It has an ultra-slim 140 mm profile and can be wall-mounted or floor-standing, perfect for tight spaces. Capacity modules come in 4.2 kWh and 6.4 kWh sizes, and up to three towers can run in parallel for a total of 70.74 kWh. It comes with a 15-year warranty and pairs with BYD's Power-Box high-voltage inverter series for a complete home energy solution.
