China's first! Mandatory National Standard Certification for Energy Storage Battery Safety

On February 27, Envision Power Co., Ltd. (AESC), the world's leading battery technology company, obtained China's first GB 44240-2024 "Safety Requirements for Lithium Batteries and Battery Packs for Electric Energy Storage Systems" certification, becoming the first enterprise in China to pass the mandatory national standards for the safety of lithium batteries for energy storage. The certificate was issued by the authoritative third-party certification body Beijing Jianheng Certification Center (CGC), and Yu Zhiqiang, head of Envision Power Reliability and Verification Center, and Zhang Guangqing, deputy general manager of Jianheng Energy Storage Division, attended the ceremony.
